Hello! My name is Emma.

I am an Illustrator, printmaker and painter by trade, occasionally dabbling in textiles via sewing and embroidery. Much of my time is spent focused on enjoying the experience of pursuing an idea and not putting too much pressure on the why. As a result, a lot of my process is experimental. I am scratching the surface of a bigger story in my creative practice that I’m still finding the words for. What I do know for sure though is, plants, animals, and the natural world are constant sources of inspiration. In my life and in my work, I am also drawn to a feeling that represents calmness, often distracted by a simple detail or moment, sometimes with a bit of humor sprinkled in.
